The cushion is filled tightly with Kapok. Therefore a relatively solid support cushion arises, on which you can lay comfortably anyway.

For allergy sufferer this support cushion with kapok is a great alternative to other synthetic cushion fillings. The natural fibre Kapok has got a similar chemical composition to wood. Lingin provides wood fibre and kapok fibre stability and longevity and is not attacked by bacteria, plants or fungi in dried condition. In addition, Kapok, in contrast to other plant fibres such as cotton, is poor in cellulose and water-repellent. Even during sleep, the kapok head pillow remains dry and provides no breeding grounds for moths, spores and germs. House dust mites have no habitat in the Thai pillow with Kapok filling. Therefore Kapok head pillows can be called allergy friendly.

The colourful rectangular cushion with the following dimensions 50 x 17 x 12 cm consists optically of six fabric snakes. In fact it is a support pad filled in one piece with Kapok. Only the surface has been stitched to increase the shape stability and the comfort of the allergy friendly support cushion. The handmade Kapok head pillow has deliberately been dispensed with a disturbing zipper.
