Buddha and the days of the week
In Buddhism there is a Buddha figure for every day of the week. The figure with the outstretched protective hand is therefore the Buddha of the Monday. In temples, the individual Buddhas are usually lined up side by side. Often there is a bowl in front of them. Depending on which day of the week the temple visitors were born, they donate something into the bowl of the respective Buddha.
