Due to the size, this mural is a very special decoration object. The relief carving is an original handmade from Thailand and shows a decorated elephant below a Buddha tree with fruits. The elephant looks to the left and solemnly raises his trunk.

In Thai culture both elephants and the poplar fig, the so-called Buddha tree, have a special meaning. Elephants are considered lucky charms and the Bodhi tree is the symbol of enlightenment and peace. This is justified in Buddhism, because according to tradition Buddha found his enlightenment under such a tree.

You can buy this relief here individually. It can also be wonderfully combined with the left version, because the motif is only mirrored. Together, they form an harmonious relief pair. On large walls their artful appearance is then particularly good effect.
