Plates and Trays
Bunzlau plates and trays
The tradition for BUNZLAU TELLER AND TABLETTS goes back to the 16th century. In Boleslawiec in Silesia there was an excellent pottery that produced coveted ceramic tableware.
The vessels quickly found widespread use in numerous households. Thanks to its versatility, the dishes soon became an indispensable kitchen aid.
The clay is obtained in Bunzlau-Naumburg and the tableware is made by hand according to old forms, sometimes in Polish factories. The very durable and abrasion-resistant underglaze decorations are applied by hand to each container with a spray balloon, sponge or brush. In the two subsequent firing processes at 800 ° C and 1250 ° C, the ceramic vessels get their estimated durability.
Despite the further development of the pottery craft, the popular traditional decors have largely been preserved. Today, sponge and spray decor technology are still used primarily. The well-known high quality of the products continues to inspire a large customer base. The Bunzlau plates and trays are free of harmful substances. They are also dishwasher safe and can be used in the oven or in the microwave.
Food can be placed directly in the fridge with the container for cooling.
